An Interlude, 2

The 25 cent linen top from the flea market provides a good base to sew upon.
The slightly loose weave allows the needle to fly (relatively).
It occurs to me that the owner might not like this design, in which case I'll pay her 25 cents,
cut it up, and make it into something else since it's too small for me.

I can see an Indians feather headdress. Is that it?
I love your ideas.

Well, now that you mention it, Anneliese, I see the Indian's headress, too! However, the design will develop as it wants to. I rarely impose anything specific onto the appliqué.

I have no claims on this technique, Els--it's just simple needleturn appliqué. Anyone can do it....

Keep going, keep going. And if no one wants it, I will take it. Although, I suspect I might have to insert some panels to make it fit me. ;-) I love love love what you are doing.
