Sketch Club, 2

After doing the blind and negative spaces sketches, I tested out my brand new 72-set Derwent Inktense pencils. This turned out to be exciting because there are several ways to apply color and get different effects. I discovered that there is a learning curve.

My friend said: "I can hardly wait to see what you do with the Inktense on fabric."

Me, too!

Hi, Els. Having used my 72-set of Prismacolor pencils a lot, I knew that I would put all those wonderful colors to work. I tested out a friend's set of Inktense before investing, comparing to regular watercolor pencils. The color is so much better. As for use on fabric, one must add water to the Inktense colors for them to become permanent...lots to play with!
