Blossoms

Excavating, remembering. While working on putting order into my past sketchbooks, drawings and watercolors (to start the New Year right), I found this forgotten card, titled, "Pear Blossoms in November."
Precedents to my textile sketchbook pages. Nature does odd things occasionally, however, the pear blossoms came in November twenty years ago.  This year they came in December.....

Mo, you've got it backwards! Patience is what I need for cooking, laundry, housework, etc. The rest is a piece of cake.

French knots... I love them but tend to get confused halfway through making one and they usually disappear or turn into a tangle just as I think I have it right! so for me patience is the key as I need to do about 100 to understand how they go and every time I try I give up after about 3!
